Our client seeks a Technical Specialist (TS) to develop comprehensive bid packages, proposals, and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships. This role focuses on providing technical expertise throughout the sales process and developing client-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Support & Documentation:
- Qualify and respond to technical elements of RFQs/RFPs/RFI
- Create and review cost estimates, margins, and pricing recommendations
- Develop detailed technical proposals and bid packages
- Maintain accurate records in SAP and sales folders
- Work closely with Outside Sales and Service Manager on solutions
Customer & Vendor Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Identify and respond to customer needs and opportunities
- Partner with vendor partners to enhance technical expertise
- Participate in sales and project meetings
- Provide status updates on ongoing and future projects
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical or equivalent experience with 5 years' experience
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- SAP experience an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail

Compensation Package Includes:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000
