Managing Partner
As Managing Partner at Overtime Recruitment Group, Jay is involved in every aspect of the recruitment process—from building client relationships and sourcing talented candidates to conducting interviews and developing new business opportunities.
His journey into recruitment wasn't exactly planned. While working in sales, a conversation with a recruiter from one of Canada's top firms planted the seed that eventually led to his career change. It turned out to be the perfect fit, combining his people skills with his passion for helping others advance their careers.
What keeps Jay motivated? Seeing the long-term success of candidates he's placed. When someone gets promoted or thrives in their new role, he considers it the ultimate win—one that extends far beyond the initial placement.
Outside work, much of Jay's time is devoted to his wife and two kids and their various activities. When he does get some personal time, he stays active with pickleball and Orange Theory classes, and enjoys following UFC fights. He’s also serious about food—at a Rotary pancake breakfast, he arrived with his own hot sauce, HP sauce, maple syrup, and even a pepper grinder. His wife just shook her head, but deep down, she knows this is the same attention to detail he brings to finding the right talent for his clients.
Operations Manager
Jamie is the glue that holds Overtime Recruitment Group together. While the consultants focus on hiring, she keeps everything running — from payroll and invoicing to marketing and IT support. She thrives in the mix of creative chaos, always ready to jump in where needed.
Outside of work, Jamie’s a busy mom, sourdough baker (Estelle, her starter, is part of the family), and DIY queen who renovates rooms like a pro. Whether it’s managing a campaign or knocking down a wall, she brings the same energy and precision to everything she does.
Recruitment Specialist
Jannah is our talent-finding specialist who discovers great candidates through LinkedIn and other channels. Inspired by her mom's HR career, she loves helping people find their professional path. She enjoys learning something new daily and connecting with different people.
When not at work, Jannah goes freediving or running - often joining races just for the medals and shirts. Her sharp instincts and dedication make her essential to our team.
