Our client, a leading manufacturer of building materials, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for the Lower Mainland/Vancouver Island region. This Canadian-owned company has a strong global presence and a long history of success in the industry.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Planning and managing territory activities to boost sales and market share
- Providing excellent customer service
- Developing new customers and growing existing relationships
- Using approved sales and marketing tools
- Communicating market trends and competition insights
- Conducting product knowledge training sessions
- Following up on customer inquiries promptly
- Submitting weekly reports
- Attending meetings and training sessions as required
What we're looking for:
- Sales or marketing-related degree (preferred)
- Experience in building products industry (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
*This role requires frequent travel within the territory, including some overnight stays. A valid driver's license and passport is necessary.
Compensation Package Includes:
- Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, with the opportunity to exceed this range based on experience.
- Annual bonus of up to 10%
