About the Role

As Sales Manager, you will lead sales growth and business development for the Winnipeg region. You’ll be responsible for driving performance, developing your team, and ensuring consistent execution across the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales and support staff
  • Drive revenue and margin growth across the region
  • Build and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics
  • Manage budgets and account portfolios
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners
  • Participate in customer meetings and support complex sales opportunities
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitive activity
  • Lead regular sales meetings and performance reviews
  • Support training and development across the team
  • Address customer issues and ensure a high level of service delivery

Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in sales, ideally within distribution or a technical/industrial environment
  • Previous leadership or team management experience
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, metrics, and performance management
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Industry experience in electrical, industrial, or related sectors is an asset
