You’ll own the estimating and bid process from intake to submission, help improve how opportunities are tracked and managed, and play a direct role in winning new business.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Estimating & Bid Management
- Prepare accurate, competitive HVAC and mechanical estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Complete take-offs, pricing analysis, and supplier coordination
- Identify risks, gaps, and value-engineering opportunities
- Manage bid submissions and follow-up activities
Project Coordination & Pre-Construction
- Coordinate preliminary submittals and technical documentation
- Support equipment selections and specification compliance
- Prepare organized project documentation for awarded work
- Ensure smooth handoff to internal sales and operations teams
Relationship & Process Management
- Build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and clients
- Maintain visibility over the bid pipeline and project status
- Contribute to improving estimating systems, processes, and tracking
- Provide clear updates during internal sales and operations meetings
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of HVAC or mechanical estimating experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction drawings
- Ability to manage bids independently from start to finish
- Organized and comfortable handling multiple opportunities at once
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Someone proactive, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership
Nice to Have
- Experience with hydronic heating, steam systems, or venting equipment
- Background in mechanical construction or technical sales
- Experience using Bluebeam, CRM platforms, or estimating software
