Technical Sales Automation Specialist - Prince George / Kamloops / Kelowna

Location: Prince George / Kamloops / Kelowna

As the Automation Sales Specialist based in either Prince George, Kamloops, or Kelowna, you'll be responsible for supporting the assigned territory in Northern BC and the Interior. Reporting to the Regional Automation Manager, you'll leverage your technical expertise to represent a leading automation product portfolio. You'll build relationships with internal and external customers, providing solutions and driving sales success within your territory.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide pre- and post-sale technical support to customers including solution design and training.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales goals in your assigned territory.
  • Travel to participate in supplier training to maintain your technical expertise. Implement marketing strategies to expand market share and compete effectively.
  • Conduct product presentations and updates to stay on top of industry advancements.
  • Manage an opportunity pipeline and actively pursue new business leads.

Who You Are:

  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in automation or technical product sales/support.
  • Exhibit excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a solid understanding of industrial automation.
  • Be able to interpret electrical drawings and understand industrial networking concepts.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of sales methodologies like Strategic Selling and Customer-Centric Selling.
  • Hold a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and passport (required for the position).
