About the Role
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for preparing competitive and accurate proposals, managing and reviewing bids with contractors, and supporting both customers and the sales team. The target market includes consultants, medium sized contractors, owners and end users, industrial and food manufacturers, commercial and industrial service companies, and public sector organizations.
Key Responsibilites:
Proposal and Estimating
- Prepare competitive and accurate proposals, with a focus on venting quotes
- Download and prepare project documentation
- Search, review, and filter bid requests from contractors and bid sites
- Track and follow up on all submitted quotes and bids
Bid and Project Management
- Bid to contractors and track project success
- Maintain project and marketing material databases
- Provide project updates during weekly sales meetings
Customer and Account Support
- Manage key accounts
- Provide product knowledge and application support
- Maintain strong customer interaction and responsiveness
- Conduct site visits as required, approximately one per week
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Commerce.
- Minimum 2 years of customer-facing or B2B experience is an asset
- Experience with Zoho CRM, QuickBooks, or similar systems
- Strong technical knowledge of hydronic heating, steam systems, and venting equipment is an asset
- Construction industry or technical project experience is an asset
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Analytical and solution oriented
- Customer focused and service driven
- Self motivated and comfortable working independently and in a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local travel
What You'll Earn:
- Competitive base salary: $60,000 – $85,000 (depending on experience)
