Our client, a leading industrial goods distributor, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a sales professional to grow their career in a fast-paced, B2B environment.

About the Company: Our client is a well-established distributor of industrial goods, serving a wide range of industries including manufacturing, construction, and maintenance. With a reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service, they are looking to expand their sales team to meet growing demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact potential and existing customers via phone and email to generate sales leads and close deals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with outside sales team to support client visits and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data in the company's CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and trade shows as required

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in industrial goods or related B2B environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial products and applications is a plus

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000
  • Commissions/bonuses ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 annually
  • Benefits package (including extended health, dental and assistance)
  • RRSP matching
