Who You Are:

You're a talented sales professional with strong experience in capital projects and equipment sales. You excel at working with end users, contractors, and engineering teams to develop new opportunities. You build solid relationships with stakeholders, and customers view you as a trusted partner. You think strategically about sales, understanding not just our business but also our customers' operations and processes.

Your mission is to maintain relationships with existing customers while bringing in new business partners. You thrive on challenges and continuous learning. Taking initiative is second nature - you're always looking for new opportunities. You can easily transition between customer meetings, presentations, and site visits all in one day.

About the Role:

  • Identify business opportunities in targeted markets and proactively approach potential customers
  • Travel regularly for meetings, presentations, training sessions, site audits, and industry events
  • Develop annual sales forecasts and plans to meet growth targets
  • Achieve booking targets and manage your sales pipeline and key accounts
  • Understand customer needs by developing knowledge of their applications and processes
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through ongoing support and guidance
  • Focus on selling complete value-added solutions and packaged systems
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking
  • Assist with creating proposals and quotes as needed

Required Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in mechanical or engineering fields
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience
  • B2B experience selling industrial products and solutions
  • Experience with process equipment, chemical handling, pumping systems, and treatment applications
  • Preference for experience in water and wastewater applications
