Our client, a leading electrical product distributor, is looking for an Automation Sales Representative to join their team in Prince George or Kamloops BC. This full-time role will support the British Columbia territory.

As an Automation Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Representing our client's automation services portfolio
  • Supporting customers with technical and application knowledge
  • Driving sales performance in your assigned area

Key responsibilities include:

Sales:

  • Developing and executing annual business growth plans
  • Managing sales opportunities and pursuing new business
  • Supporting account planning and execution

Technical:

  • Providing pre-sale technical solutions and post-sale support
  • Conducting presentations and product updates
  • Staying up-to-date with specialized product knowledge

Marketing:

  • Analyzing market conditions and identifying growth opportunities
  • Executing commercial activities like product launches and seminars
  • Implementing strategies to expand market presence

Qualifications:

  • Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree
  • 2+ years of experience in automation or technical product sales/support
  • Understanding of sales principles and strong communication skills
  • Technical knowledge of industrial automation systems
  • Valid driver's license and passport

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, with the opportunity to exceed this range based on experience.
  • Commissions/bonuses ranging from $20,000 to $30,000 annually
  • Benefits package (including extended health, dental and assistance) RRSP matching
  • Vehicle mileage reimbursement
